How the Grinch Stole Christmas

One of my Favorite Christmas Books Ever

The ultimate Dr. Seuss Christmas classic -- no holiday season is complete without the Grinch, Max, Cindy-Lou, and all the residents of Who-ville!

“Every Who down in Who-ville liked Christmas a lot . . . but the Grinch, who lived just north of Who-ville, did NOT!” Not since “’Twas the night before Christmas” has the beginning of a Christmas tale been so instantly recognizable. This heartwarming story about the effects of the Christmas spirit will grow even the coldest and smallest of hearts. Like mistletoe, candy canes, and caroling, the Grinch is a mainstay of the holidays, and his story is the perfect gift for young and old.

And don't forget to celebrate Grinch-mas this Christmas season, the annual holiday tradition inspired by How the Grinch Stole Christmas that encourages readers to grow their hearts three sizes by doing good deeds!

Now, to keep the old man’s legacy afloat, Tyler’s giving up his playboy ways and settling into small-town life. But his newfound resolve is tested when trouble strides into his office in five-inch heels.
Kristen Howell has spent the last five years working her way up the corporate ladder. And somehow it’s landed her smack-dab in the middle of nowhere: Haven, Montana. It’s her job to convince the head of McGowan Enterprises to sell. But the tall and rangy hunk is proving to be exceedingly stubborn—and overwhelmingly hot. When someone attempts to derail her negotiations, Kristen is ready to get down and dirty. But the sparks she and Tyler are throwing near the oil field may be dangerously combustible…

A Tightening Noose

Summary Living on the fringes of contemporary american society a reclusive combat veteran and a former prize fighter, turned outlaw biker, find themselves unwittingly ensnared in a federal investigation. As ghosts from their separate and sordid pasts emerge and are examined, they are drawn, increasingly closer, towards the outlier of an intricate conspiracy with global ramifications. Uncomfortably current, darkly spiritual, socially unacceptable, and eerily familiar, a tightening noose will leave you scared, scarred, and speculating on what is fact, what is fiction, and what is next.

The Good Citizen

In a futuristic society that oppresses immigrants and requires citizens to use Protectors (guns), two teenage girls from opposite backgrounds must decide if they’ll risk their futures to save the people they love.
Fifteen year old Hannah, a new citizen, and thirteen year-old Jenny, a future safety officer, have nothing in common. But it’s Jenny’s job to make sure Hannah follows the Governcorp citizenship rules–especially to carry and use a Protector properly. Having a Protector is supposed to keep you safe, and help you keep others and your community safe. Protect yourself; protect your property; protect community property; protect your friends, family, and fellow citizens – that’s what the Governcorp rulebook says. And what Jenny believes with all her heart.
Hannah wants to be a good citizen, for her family and for her father who worked so hard to gain citizenship for them – but for someone who grew up in the Homestead, Protectors mean something else entirely to her: fear and Governcorp control. She doesn’t want to carry one and she doesn’t want to use one, but she has no choice. As she navigates what it means to be a citizen she finds herself part of a rebellion that questions the rules. But when questioning the rules leads to breaking them, she’ll have to rely on Jenny for help. And Jenny’s idea of being a good citizen is very different from Hannah’s…
