Heavenly Host High

HEAVENLY HOST HIGH:

DAWN OF CHAOS

The book is about two young boys, Ari and Eriya, who go throughout high school carefree and only taking things at face value. At the end of the year both Ari and Eriya meet several “unnoticed” students in a short amount of time that they never truly notice before despite all of them going to school with them. Each one of the “unnoticed” students seemed different from the others. Two that stood out the most was a girl by the name of Rubi Oruto, a smart, bold leader of a girl who was currently FCS president of the school, and one of her bestfriends Rora Jackson, a quick-to-action, cunning African American heroine. The “unnoticed” students, including Rubi and Rora, are befriended by the boys. Through regular school life, Ari and Eriya draw close to these new friends. Suddenly, at one of Rubi’s softball games, a tragic terrorist attack ensues. Thousands of floating cloak people seemingly fall from portals in the sky attack pedestrians of the game. Rubi and the friends spring into action to help those they can, but many are lost. Ari and Eriya are sadly a part of this number of people who died, but somehow wake up unscathed. All along, Rubi was some sort of Angel royalty and all the “unnoticed” kids they encountered were Angels as well. Rubi had reincarnated Ari and Eriya to live their normal lives in supernatural bodies. Now a part of the new world of supernaturals, they start to notice some of the other people in their school are Angels, Demons, Fallen Angels, all belonging to their own caste system. Ari and Eriya will now have to go to school, do homework, and live their teenage lives while also fighting a war behind the scenes with the terrorist group, the Chaos Brigade. It will take Ari, Eriya, Rubi, Rora, and other friends to stop this impending threat and navigate their regular lives with their new irregular family.
