Each story is contained in its own chapter, and in between each chapter is a brief narrative of my 4,700 mile solo bike ride, in which I visited many of the book participants for the first time, met many people with very interesting stories along the way, and also dealt with the emotional issues surrounding losing my only sibling to brain cancer years prior.
